EnergyBank was asked by the client to supply and install a remote area power system for a new residence. We were able to provide an efficient solution, which was at less than the cost of connecting to the electricity grid, and with the added benefit of never having electricity bills again!

DETAILS:
After a consultation process which enabled us to calculate the client’s electricity requirements, we designed a system incorporating a 2 kW PV array coupled with a 1kW wind turbine and battery system. This gives the client a total of 2.5 days of autonomy – the time that the batteries will provide electricity without any generation input – ensuring that there will always be enough electricity, even during times of low wind and sunlight.
